HealthPort was founded in 2018 by Susie Flores and Matthew Wiley. Susie and Matt began developing technology applications specific for patient data exchange together when they founded Care Directives their flagship company in early 2016. Together they have worked with thousands of providers nationwide.
Founder and CEO
Susie has been developing programs for complex care management, care coordination and palliative care for 21 years. From her early days as a medical social worker, Susie has been driven by the desire to make care accessible to all patients particularly those in underserved areas or those with poor outcomes.
Matthew Wiley, Ph.D.
Founder and CTO
Matthew has 12 years of experience working with patient health information and health information technology. Matthew’s expertise includes health informatics, data mining, information retrieval, machine learning and natural language processing.
